The camp property is in rural Tennessee approximately 1.5 to 2 hours southwest of Nashville – enough distance to get to the big city, but far enough away to immerse in nature. Nearby towns of Hohenwald and Waynesboro offer grocery shopping and other necessities within 20 minutes drive. Columbia, TN and Florence, AL are about an hour away along with numerous state parks and of course lots of farm country. The 17 acres has a combination of forest, open fields, free range area and coop for chickens and grazing zone for small herd of miniature donkeys. The organic garden also contains fruit trees and expanding for 2018 harvest. Access to Buffalo River just a short 10-15 minute walk across the camp and you can utilize one of our kayaks during the summer season.
There are several physical structures for lodging and workspace. The residency house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath with a living and kitchen area featuring decks on the front and back. The main lodge has unique features including a pine wall room with reclaimed wood and a fun loft with open staircase. Both houses feature kitchens with new appliances and stocked with utensils and cookware to suit all needs. Guests & residents can sit by one of two wood-burning stoves in the main lodge, a large fireplace in the director residence, or enjoy lounging on one of numerous decks or by a firepit. Take a walk in the woods, bring along your notebook, sketchbook, painting materials.
