Ryna participated in a month long residency with her artist partner and their dog. Sarasvati creative Space is family and pet friendly and encourages applications from couples who have their own distinct practice. Ryna spent the month in preparing for a solo exhibition only a few days after her departure. This entailed painting many small uniquely shaped wood blocks, which may well have been over 100. This was her first work with wood. This video shares several conversations as the work developed and transformed until the night before departure.
