Residencies can offer happy accidents and random opportunities at any time. At the mid-point of Nicole's residency, there was a heavy snowstorm. After spending some time out in the snow, Val and Nicole had a chat about her residency experience so far. She had several goals including reading 4 books. Later there are clips of the snow and bamboo. Lots of lessons can be gleaned from the random moments in nature. The form, texture, colors, and even the opportunity to rejuvenate that inner child with a snow bear.
